As you may know, Customily 2.0 comes with a lot of exclusive design templates for you to use freely! 💞
This means you can choose any of the designs, apply them to your products and start selling right away! There are different occasion designs - like designs for mothers, fathers, friends, and so on - as well as special seasonal designs like Halloween, St. Valentine's, or Christmas.
But maybe you want to create your own unique designs from scratch, which would be totally reasonable too.
If that’s your case, let’s learn how to create your own designs on Customily 2.0 and all the features you can use!
In order to start creating your own designs, you can click on the icon on the starting menu, or go to “my designs” on your left panel.
Put a name to your design and click create! Now you’re on the design settings 🎨
Think of it like creating a design on Canva, where you will create all the layers of your personalization design.
If you are familiar with Customily 1.0, you will find this very friendly. But in case you’re new, let’s see all the features you can use here:
Text Box
Define the areas where your customers can add texts. Here you can set up things like different fonts, minimum and maximum font sizes, alignment, font colors, prefixes, suffixes, and more. You can use the font and color libraries to upload sets of pre-defined elements.
Curved Text
Same as the simple text, but here you can define the curve the text will follow.
Image Placeholder
Define the areas where your customer can upload their own images. You can also add special features to automatically transform the image, such as removing background color, removing all backgrounds, or transforming the photo into a cartoon!
Vector Placeholder
Define the areas where your customer can upload SVG, EPS, or PDF files.
Maps
Define the area where a map will be shown. Let your customer choose any location from the world to be displayed in that area. You can also select the map style, with more than 15 designs available.
Dynamic Image
Upload images to create a beautiful design, or pick from the image libraries, and let your customers choose from them. This is ideal for products that have clipart. You can upload your own clipart or use Customily’s clipart collections with thousands of free images available to use and sell.
Dynamic Vector
Upload vectors to create your designs, or pick from the vector libraries, and let your customers choose from them.
As you can see, you have plenty of elements for you to try and combine to create amazing and wonderful designs. The options are endless! ✨
After you’re done with your design, save it and it will be available under “my designs” to apply to any product that you want. Now you can go to create new product, choose a product from a POD supplier or from your own product bases, and then apply your own designs to any of them!
