December Updates: New Personalization Features in Customily

As the year came to a close 🎁, we remained in the same code freeze to ensure stability during the busiest season. While major launches were on hold, December marked the moment when new improvements started to take shape behind the scenes. A few updates began to roll out gradually, laying the foundation for a strong start to the year ahead.

Create Product Base from Listings (AI-powered)✨🤖

We’re excited to introduce Create Product Base from Listings, a new AI-powered feature that lets you create a Product Base directly from your existing store listings.

Using data like product type, title, description, variants, and more, Customily automatically generates the Print Area and Preview following industry standards, placing everything exactly where it should be.

How it works:

1. Go to the Customily app homepage and click Set Up Personalization for Existing Product

2. Select a store product that isn’t linked to Customily yet

3. In the Product Bases tab, click Create from Listing

4. Customily will automatically:

• Generate the Print Area and Preview using listing data
• Place the Print Area correctly based on product type
• Create product images for all available color variants

5. Fine-tune any generated settings if needed

6. Choose a design and publish as usual

Your product becomes personalizable in just a few clicks, and the generated Product Base is saved, so you can reuse it on other products later.

PicWish Integration 🖼️

We’ve added a new PicWish integration! 🎉 This gives all Customily users access to the Enhance Photo image effect, allowing image uploads to be upscaled by scaling them x2, x3, or x4.

This is especially useful for print files that require large image formats.

Important: To use this image effect, you must set up your PicWish API Key in the Account Integrations page.

Order Page Updates 📦

We’ve made some highly requested improvements to the Orders page:

• ‍Removed the one-page export limit: you can now export all orders in your list at once 🎉 This applies to Shopify and WooCommerce stores (Etsy didn’t have this limit).
• ‍Improved date filters, with new time-range options like: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days & more.
