June Updates: New Personalization Features in Customily

We’re halfway through the year, but we’re just getting started! 🚀 June brings bold new personalization features and clever optimizations that will keep your store running strong through the busy summer season.

Add More Color to Your Custom Text — With Gradients! 🌈

We’ve just launched Gradient Fill for custom text — and it’s more powerful than ever! Now you can let customers personalize their text using beautiful multi-color gradients — perfect for bootleg tee designs, vibrant name art, or sunset-inspired color effects.

How it works:

• Add multiple color stops to create unique gradients
• Adjust the gradient angle by setting a degree value (0º for horizontal, 90º for vertical)
• Fine-tune stop positions by dragging them along the bar or entering a value (from 0 to 100)
• Choose between solid and gradient fills for each color option
• Works with both Regular and Warped text styles
• Export supported in PNG and JPG formats (PDF and more coming soon)

🎨 To set it up:

Go to your text design element → Fill → Select “Gradient” → Add your color stops → You're done!

Apply Conditions to Options in Bulk 🧩

You can now apply conditions to options more efficiently!

How it works:

1. - Select the option you want to apply conditions to from the list.
2. - Click 'Set Logic'.
3. - Any new conditions you apply will replace the existing ones for that option.

Date Picker to Text 📅➡️🔤

You can now fill a Text element using a 📅 Date Picker!

How it works:

The Date Picker option type now supports the 🔤 Text function — letting you link the selected date directly to a text field.

📌 The default format is MM.DD.YYYY, but 🧩 formatting options are coming soon to the Design Studio!

Restoring a Template Version 🔄

You can restore a previous version of a template at any time using the Template History feature 🕘

Whether you accidentally break a template 🧩 or simply want to go back to an earlier version ⏪, it's easy to retrieve it.

How it works:

1. Open the Template History to view the list of available versions.
2. Select the version you want to restore.
3. A new template will be created based on the selected version.
